A drawing workshop that encourages people of all skill-levels and backgrounds to take creative risks in a safe and supportive environment.
Participants engage in solo and group activities that inhibit their abilities to fully control the outcome of their drawings...producing revoltingly beautiful failures.
With “failure” guaranteed, we can enjoy the process of drawing and goofing off together!
Playing With Chance
A somewhat intimate and introspective workshop. Participants learn the necessary ingredients to make their own oracle deck and how to use it for poetic, psychological, and interpersonal purposes.
During each workshop, we create a collective oracle deck and participants take turns reading one another using the deck.
If I’m being honest, it’s a big trick to get a group of people to communicate on a more intimate level and have the opportunity to offer each other comfort, advice, and support…when appropriate or necessary.

Thee Infinite Collage
A Workshop that is part live-improvised multi-media performance and part crafting session.
Participants can jam together to create musical compositions using intuitive electronic instruments while others have the opportunity to generate live visuals. Various snippets from each workshop will be sampled with the intention of using them in future workshops as well as a possible future long-form interactive audio visual art exhibit.
Participants also have the option to create more traditional collage elements to be used in future workshops as props or to collage using elements made from previous workshops.
I refer to this as the most free-form, collaborative, and chaotic workshop in the catalogue. In many ways, it illustrates the core ethos of Strange Rainbow:
Allowing the creative process to do its thing
Goofin’ around until something profound happens
